For me the issue with those 82 deg 30mm-ish eyepiece is weight. the 30mm APM-UFF is about half the weight. Of course, one can balance the scope. Personally, I like medium or light weight eyepieces, not "king kong" ones. Anyway, I ordered one.

The 30mm UFF is an excellent eyepiece. Perfect viewing experience with the large 70 afov which feels more like 72 afov. It is very good for viewing nebula but was a lot of fun on star clusters. You still are able to see about 90% of view. But I still took them off to see everything they had to offer. Great build quality as well. I'm already ordering the 13mm and looking at the 30mm uff which both have great reviews also. I'm surprised I don't hear too much about APM eyepieces because they really are amazing quality pieces.
